Now he is back in the spotlight again. The reason that the former Pakistani cricket captain has made a big statement in support of the Taliban-occupied Afghanistan.
Afridi said the Taliban’s approach was “very positive” in many cases. He also spoke about the Taliban’s support for the future of cricket in Afghanistan. Afridi also described the Taliban’s “soft-spoken” attitude toward women as “good”. Afridi told reporters in Karachi on Monday.

The people of Pakistan have also categorised the former all-rounder. A consumer has suggested that Afridi be made the prime minister of the Taliban.
