Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Amid the scare of third wave of COVID pandemic across India, nearly 13 lakh people have not received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Odisha.
As many as 12,95,000 beneficiaries have missed second dose of Covid vaccine within the stipulated time, informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.
The Department is verifying as to why the beneficiaries were not administered the second dose even after exceeding the prescribed schedule.
The massive vaccination drive had begun on January 16 across the country. So far, 2,10,5,000 doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in Odisha, of which more than 50 lakh citizens have been fully vaccinated.
