Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Self proclaimed God man Bijayananda Choudhury allegedly arrested on Sunday in the fake Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) work order case. Meanwhile, today new complaints of cheating have been lodged against Choudhury. However, his photos went viral on social media with different costumes.
Reportedly, new complaints of cheating have been lodged with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) against the self proclaimed God man.
He has been seen wearing orange or white costume like a God man. After these new complaints against him, he will be reportedly taken on remand for an interrogation.
Pertaining to mention here that on August 22, the self-proclaimed God man had been arrested along with Chandan Akash Mohanty, a B.Tech engineer, who was working as an Assistant Engineer in OTDC, Bhubaneswar on a contractual basis.
The EOW arrested both of them based on the complaint filed by the officials of OTDC. The Corporation had filed a police complaint against the duo after one Dhanurdhara Champatiray, a Special Class Contractor, complained about a fraud done by the accused. As per the complaint the accused persons had taken over Rs 3 crore from Dhanurdhara assuring him of giving work orders from OTDC.
