Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The DMET Chief CBK Mohanty on Wednesday informed that the third wave of COVID-19 will not have much impact on Odisha which was earlier informed by the IIT Kanpur model.
“If the third wave arrives then it will not be that much effectible on human as the second wave of the virus,” said the DMET Chief.
Different models have different evaluation. Some models have predicted that around 4-5 lakh Covid-19 positives will be detected in India and some say there will be not much impact. But the state government is all prepared to tackle Covid situation if it arrives, said DMET CBK Mohanty.
Besides, the ECMO treatment to begin at SCB hospital from August 27 this year.
