Puri (SunstarTV Bureau): In adherence to COVID-19 protocols, Shree Jagannath temple in Puri finally reopened for all devotees of almost after 4 months on Monday. Meanwhile, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) recently reopened the 12th century shrine in a phased manner.
However, as per the issued guidelines, the devotees are bar to pay darshan inside of temple premise between 7 am and 7 pm on all weekends except Saturdays and Sundays.
According to SJTA, special arrangements are placed to make sure devotees to follow COVID-19 protocols. Along with barricades have been installed to maintain physical distance and as many as eight kiosks have been set up to facilitate proper sanitization.
Moreover, along with documents needed for entry into Jagannath Temple where devotees are asked to produce the final certificate for COVID-19 vaccination (double doses certificate) or RTPCR of testing done within 96 hours prior to visit the 12th Shrine.
Visitors are required to bring Identity prove as Aadhaar card or Voter ID while visiting the temple, informed SJTA.
