Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik virtually inaugurated the permanent campus of the Skill Development Institute (SDI) in Bhubaneswar, on Friday.
The inauguration was done in the presence of Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Hardeep Singh Puri and Rameswar Teli.
The ground breaking ceremony of the permanent campus of the Institute of Chemical Technology IOC (IndianOil) in Bhubaneswar was also carried out.
Noting Odisha has seen phenomenal growth in the industrial sector in recent years also attracting foreign investors to invest here, he said
Elaborating on the government’s focus on skilling the Indian youth, Pradhan said skill development of the new generation is a national need and the foundation of Prime Minister’s Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The permanent campus of SDI is located at Jatni Tahsil of Khurda district. President Ram Nath Kovind was laid the foundation on March 18, 2018.
