Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The State Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department on Thursday reported as many as 1,041 new COVID-19 positives in the last 24 hours today. Meanwhile, a total of 66,281 samples were tested in Odisha, on Wednesday.
The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.57%.
Besides, the Khurda district spontaneously reporting high COVID cases for few days and it reported highest 398 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack with 176 and Jajpur with 56 new infections.
The COVID-19 tally in Odisha reached 9,98,187 with 9,664 active cases.
