Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): After four months in Odisha, finally the daily COVID-19 Cases declined below 1,000 marks and on Monday it registered as many as 868 new positives in the last 24 hours, inform the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department.
Meanwhile, among total positive cases, total 104 positives were reported between the age group of 1-18 years, indicating arrival of third wave of the pandemic in the State.
Besides, other 507 were reported from different quarantine centres and 361 were the local contacts.
Khordha district logged 256 new COVID cases, the highest, followed by Cuttack district with 154 cases in a single day. With this, the total COVID-19 caseload increased to 9,95,433 with 10,187 active cases in Odisha so far.
