Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): On August 20, the Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to visit Malkangiri district, to distribute the newly-launched smart health cards among the beneficiaries.
Reportedly, the Odisha Chief Minister also decided to interact with the villagers, during his visit. LED lights have been installed in various blocks for the programme.
On the other hand, seven Ministers are about to attend in eight blocks of the district to sensitise the public about benefits of the health card.
In next phase, the CM will visit Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj and Balangir districts to handover the smart health cards. It has been targeted that all beneficiaries in the state will avail the card by November this year.
During the state-level Independence Day celebration at Unit-3 Exhibition Ground here, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik yesterday announced smart health cards for 3.5 crore people of the state under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana .
