Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department on Tuesday reported as many as 1,041 more COVID positive cases in the last 24 hours. Notably, yesterday the numbers of reported COVID cases were below 1,000.
According to health department, a total of 56,859 samples were tested in the State on Monday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.83 percent.
The highest number of COVID-19 reported from Khurda district where today it reports total 383 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack with 132 cases and Jagatsinghpur with 81 Cases.
The COVID-19 tally in the state reached 9,88,997 with 10,988 active cases.
