Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Ollywood’s renowned actor Sabyasachi Mishra turned a savior for new born babies including their poverty stricken mother after been intervening at the appropriate time.
However, among four, two infants were died on Sunday at SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, informed Sishu Bhawan Superintendent Ganendra Behera.
Besides, the humanitarian act was performed by the actor as soon as he shared the details in a social media post.
Pertaining to mention here that, few days back Mishra got to know about the penurious pregnant woman named Chabita Nayak, who carrying four fetuses in her womb in Sarankul of Bhanjanagar and arranged a private ambulance with a medical team to shift her to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
After being shifted to SCB Medical, the hospital authorities revealed that she was suffering from sickle cell, severe jaundice and severe anemia.
Soon after the doctors and Specialist of Gynaecology, Hematology and Hepatology departments took a multidisciplinary approach and followed a unique procedure to save the five lives. The team of Doctors under the leadership of Dr Tushar Kar, Head of Department, Gynaecology Dept, SCB helped the expectant mother to deliver quadruplets under normal procedure without any surgical intervention.
Mishra’s post further informed yesterday, “With God’s grace, all the 4 baby girls are in good condition & the mother is responding well to all the treatments.”
