COVID deaths in Odisha: H&FW reports 64 fatalities in State; Khordha records highest

Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Health and Family Welfare department of Odisha on Saturday reported on Twitter that as many as 64 more COVID-19 patients succumbed to the deadly virus in the state taking the toll to 6,366.

The highest ever deaths were reported from Khordha district which is 27,followed by 17 from Cuttack, four each from Balasore and Keonjhar.

Besides, three casualties have been reported from Mayurbhanj district, one each from Angul, Bhadrak, Boudh, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Kendrapada, Nayagarh and Puri.

Details of cases confirmed as death due to Covid-19, after due completion of death audit process:

1. A 35 years old male of Angul District.

2. A 38 years old male of Boudh District.

3. A 28 years old male of Bhadrak District.

4. A 80 years old male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

5. A 33 years old female of Balasore District.

6. A 55 years old female of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

7. A 76 years old male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

8. A 67 years old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension & Seizure Disorder.

9. A 89 years old male of Bhubaneswar.

10. A 86 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension.

11. A 79 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

12. A 89 years old female of Bhubaneswar.

13. A 63 years old female of Bhubaneswar.

14. A 57 years old male of Bhubaneswar.

15. A 68 years old female of Bhubaneswar.

16. A 65 years old female of Bhubaneswar.

17. A 70 years old male of Bhubaneswar.

18. A 75 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension.

19. A 42 years old male of Bhubaneswar.

20. A 53 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.

21. A 82 years old male of Bhubaneswar.

22. A 60 years old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Hypothyroidism & Coronary Artery Disease.

23. A 57 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

24. A 73 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension.

25. A 56 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Hypothyroidism.

26. A 62 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension.

27. A 73 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension & Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

28. A 90 years old female of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

29. A 43 years old female of Cuttack District.

30. A 46 years old male of Cuttack District.

31. A 61 years old male of Cuttack District.

32. A 38 years old male of Cuttack District.

33. A 69 years old male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

34. A 64 years old male of Cuttack District.

35. A 43 years old female of Cuttack District.

36. A 70 years old female of Cuttack District.

37. A 71 years old female of Cuttack District.

38. A 75 years old female of Cuttack District.

39. A 45 years old male of Cuttack District.

40. A 67 years old female of Cuttack District.

41. A 55 years old female of Cuttack District.

42. A 56 years old female of Cuttack District.

43. A 89 years old male of Cuttack District.

53. A 42 years old male of Khurdha District.

54. A 80 years old male of Khurdha District.

55. A 40 years old female of Khurdha District.

56. A 84 years old male of Khurdha District.

57. A 70 years old male of Khurdha District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

58. A 72 years old male of Khurdha District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

59. A 50 years old female of Khurdha District.

60. A 34 years old male of Mayurbhanja District.

61. A 60 years old male of Mayurbhanja District.

62. A 45 years old male of Mayurbhanja District.

63. A 38 years old male of Nayagarh District.

64. A 44 years old male of Puri District.

NOTE: This list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.
