Bhubaneswar (SunstaraTV Bureau): The Odisha Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Jena, on Saturday made major announcement over beginning of unlock process in the state.
According to Jena, as number of daily positive cases have declined in as many as 27 districts, the state Government has decided to begin unlock process.
As part of the relaxations, shopping malls and parks will reopen across the state. However, night curfew between 8pm and 6 am will continue in all 30 districts.
In case of Cuttack, Khordha and Puri districts still containing high Covid positives cases. Meanwhile, weekend shutdown will continue in all three districts. However, social, religious and political institutions will continue to remain closed.
“Malls, restaurant, bars and cinema halls will reopen with 50 per cent capacity in adherence to COVID-19 protocols. However, in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri, only fully vaccinated people will be allowed inside these places,” said SRC.
