Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Total 12 new Vice Chancellors have been appointed in Central Universities across India. Among them, the noted educationist Prof. Kshiti Bhusan Das from Odisha has appointed as Vice Chancellor of Central University, Jharkhand.
On January 18, 2021, the noted Professor assumed as the officer of Pro Vice Chancellor of Central University of Odisha, Sunabeda in Koraput district. Before joining to Central University of Odisha, he was the pro Vice Chancellor in Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
He holds 38-years of teaching experience as a Dean and Prof. of Commerce and Management from Utkal University and SOA University.
Besides, another 11 diligent professors are also appointed. Prof. (Dr) Tankeshwar Kumar appointed as VC in Central University of Haryana, Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal appointed in Central University of Himachal Pradesh.
Similarly, Dr. Sanjeev Jain in Jammu, Prof. Battu Satyanarayana in Karnataka, Prof. Muthukalingan Krishnan in Tamil Nadu, Dr. Basuthkar J Rao in Hyderabad, Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh in South Bihar, Prof. Prabha Shankar Shukla in North Eastern Hill University, Dr. Alok Kumar Chakrawal in Guru Ghashidas University, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan in Maulana Azad National Urdu University and Prof. N. Lokendra Singh in Manipur University appointed.
