Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department on Friday reported the number of positive cases of deadly Covid virus in the past 24 hours where as many as 1,917 people were tested positive in Odisha. Meanwhile, the total caseload reached to 9,63,851 today so far.
Besides, total 78,134 samples were tested on Thursday and the Total Positivity Rate (TPR) stood at 2.45 per cent.
Among the total positive cases reported today across state, 1,109 are reported from quarantine centers and 808 from local contact cases.
Khordha district recorded highest 518 Covid cases followed by Cuttack with 256 and Puri with 118 positive cases.
