New Delhi (SunstarTV Bureau): While India in almost four months had recorded lowest fatalities which logged at 374 yesterday, in the last 24 hours, the single day spike mounted to 3,998 deaths across country. Now the escalated COVID fatalities currently havoc threats among citizens.
Meanwhile, the reason behind suggests that Maharashtra has carried out its 14th reconciliation exercise of COVID data in the state which further resurge the positive case tally by 2479. Besides, the death toll rose by 3509.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare department, the numbers of cases were registered as 42,015 new COVID cases and prior were reported with 11,922 cases on Tuesday.
Currently, India has active cases logged at 4,07,170 and also witnessed a total of 4,18,480 deaths so far.
The Union Health Ministry has recorded that, a total of 36,977 people were discharged in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the total discharge to 3,03,90,687 till date from hospitals and health centres as the virus continued to infect less than one lakh people over the last 43 days.
According to the health ministry, a total of 41,54,72,455 Covid vaccine doses were administered in India, including 34,25,446 in the last 24 hours.
The total number of samples tested so far has reached 44,91,93,273 on July 20 including 18,52,140 samples tested on Tuesday.
