Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday has announced a COVID assistance of Rs 453.5 crore for women members of Mission Shakti in the State.
According to announcement, total 338 block-level Mission Shakti associations will receive Rs 50 lakh each for construction of their respective Mission Shakti Bhawans, which can be used as training centres or business centres by them.
This apart, Rs 84.50 crore as revolving fund for help in doing business and Rs 200 crore as interest subvention for repayment of loans have been sanctioned for them.
The CM praised the Mission Shakti members for their participation in COVID-19 management like supervising temporary healthcare centres, manufacturing masks, creating awareness among people etc.
