Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): For the first time with an addition of two languages, the NEET (UG) 2021 examination to be conducted in 13 languages.
The information has given by the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday.
Earlier, the NEET examination pattern had followed with languages of Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Gujurat, Marathi, Telegu, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu and English. Now the two more languages which have been added in the list as Punjabi and Malayalam.
“For the very first time in history of NEET (UG) exam and in order to facilitate the Indian student community in the Middle East, an examination centre has been opened in Kuwait,” said Pradhan.
The noted exam will be held on September 12 this year, following the COVID-19 protocols.
Earlier, the Union Education Minister had informed that the number of cities where the examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198 to ensure social distancing. Meanwhile, the number of centres will also be increases from 3,862 centres used in last year.
