Puri (SunstarTV Bureau): Where two days more to go for the sacred Gundicha Jatra of trinity Lord Jagannath, his elder brother Lord Balabhadra, and little sister Devi Subhadra’s in Puri Grand Road (Bada Danda), the district administration on Saturday declared to impose section 144 in Puri town from July 11, 2021.
Amid the shutdown and curfew for a 48 hours long to come in effective from 8 PM of July 11 to 8 PM of July 13 this year.
During the curfew, no public gathering, roof top and balcony gathering in grand road to be entertained. However, vehicle movement will not be allowed here. Shops, hotels, dharmashalas and guest houses to remain shut. Meanwhile, the order to vacate guests, tourists from the place by today.
Moreover, banks and all offices will not be allowed to open except essential government offices, medicine, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and optical shops.
All the eight entry points to Puri district will be sealed. Besides, Three entry points as Batagaon, Mangalaghat, and Grid Station Square will be sealed.
Home delivery of essential goods, food items, grocery, milk, vegetables are allowed to provide service.
