Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Odisha Information and Public Relations department (I&PR) on Friday has recorded as many as 2,806 new Covid positives in last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, total 1,613 cases are registered from quarantine centres and 1,193 cases from local contacts.

Khordha district registered highest number of covid infections as 590, followed by Cuttack with 441 positives and Jajpur reported 252 cases in one day.

Below are the district wise cases recorded for one day:

1. Angul: 102

5. Balangir: 10
6. Boudh: 9
7. Cuttack: 441
8. Deogarh: 4
9. Dhenkanal: 124

14. Jharsuguda: 10
15. Kalahandi: 25
16. Kandhamal: 17
17. Kendrapada: 57
18. Keonjhar: 72
19. Khurda: 590
20. Koraput: 29
21. Malkangiri: 35
22. Mayurbhanj: 109
23. Nawarangpur: 20
24. Nayagarh: 86
25. Nuapada: 7
26. Puri: 138
27. Rayagada: 30
28. Sambalpur: 26
29. Sonepur: 16
30. Sundargarh: 65
31. State Pool: 119

The new recoveries calculated as 2,896,
Cumulative tested 1,44,14,368,
Positive rate stood at 9,35,136, Recovered rate at 9,03,178, and
Active cases in State at 27,429.
