Odisha reports 2912 COVID positives in last 24 hours

Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The state Information and Public Relations department on Friday reported as many as 2,912 fresh COVID cases detected in last 24 hours.

A total of 64,255 samples were tested during the period.
Meanwhile, the TPR reported at 5.2% on Thursday.

Of the fresh detected from all 30 districts, 1675 are quarantine cases and 1,237 local contact cases. Khordha district reported highest 401 cases, followed by Cuttack (382) and Jajpur (292).

With the fresh cases, the state’s total caseload surged to 893508, including 33,156 active cases.
