Cuttack (SunstarTV Bureau): The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has made an announcement about the results of annual High School Certificate (HSC) Examination-2021 on Friday wee hours before.

Reportedly, Odisha School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash declared the results at BSE office in Cuttack.

The overall score as 97.89 per cent students have cleared the matriculation without appearing in the board test due to Covid pandemic situation.

A total of 5,62,010 students (Boys- 2,80,352, Girls- 2,81,658) passed the exam successfully out of 5,74,125 examinees. Total 7,703 students failed to score pass marks, informed the Minister after releasing the results.

Total 2,656 students cleared the board exam with Grade A1, 22,131 students with Grade A2, 52,299 students with Grade B1 and 94,475 students cleared the exam with Grade B2 this year.

The number of students who scored above 60% marks is 1,71,561.

This year, a total of 5945 schools have scored 100% and no school scored zero pass percentage.

The Ex-regular students’ pass percentage stood at 88.30% this year. Out of 53,279 ex-regular students, 47,060 have passed the examination.

students, those are not satisfied with their scores, can appear in the examination later. The date for the examination will be decided by the BSE.

The students, who will appear in improvement examination, will not face any inconveniences in admission into Plus II courses, as reservation will be made open for them for Plus II admission till their results out, the Minister made it clear at the presser.

Besides, the results of Open School Certificate and Madhyama Examination were also released today.

The students can check their scores at www.bseodisha.ac.in and www.bseodisha.nic.in from 6.00 PM onwards, informed the board.

Students can also check their results on their mobile phones by sending SMS- OR01 <Roll number> to 5676750.

The annual Class-10 Examination conducted by the BSE was cancelled due to second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in Odisha.

The marks have been awarded to students based on their performances at Class 9 examination and pre-board examinations of Class 10.
