Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo on Friday announced above final semester examinations of UG and PG students will be held online in July and August this year.
Meanwhile, Plus 3 and PG students can appear in the exams from their homes or at their nearest degree colleges.
Sahoo confirmed this after a virtual meeting of Vice-Chancellors today.
“The VCs have decided to conduct the exams online. College administrations have been asked to take necessary steps to ensure smooth conduct of the examinations. The decision has been taken keeping in view the adverse situation,” said the Minister.
However, the exact dates for conduct of the examinations will be decided by authorities of the universities and autonomous colleges. Students can also give exams for their previous or back papers online in July and August, he added.
