Odisha reports 3405 COVID cases in last 24 hours

Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Odisha is on an improving stage as the COVID-19 situation is seemingly improving. On Tuesday the Information and Family Welfare department reported 3,405 new cases in the last 24 hours.

A total of 56,807 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR), which was 6.33%, has further reduced to 5.99%.

Khurda district reported highest 500 fresh infections, followed by Jajpur (391) and Balasore (296).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state rose to 859526 while the active cases decreased to 51104.
