Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Online classes of colleges and universities to resume in State after the completion of summer vacation from June 1 this year.
Official sources said universities and degree colleges under the Higher Education Department will resume online classes from June 1.
However, physical classroom teaching will not commence for the time being. Besides, hostels will remain closed till further orders.
Students will be communicated about the schedule of examinations soon after the UGC’s decision on the same, said the department.
Notably, early yesterday the Odisha Higher Education Department in a letter to all universities and degree colleges wrote “The summer vacation as declared by this department will come to an end on May 31, 2021. After end of summer vacation, the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) shall resume functioning as per the earlier guidelines.”
