Odisha registers 7,188 fresh COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

Bhubaneswar (SunstarTVBureau): Taking the tally to 7,47,143, the State Information & Public Relation Department today informed that in the last 24 hours the COVID cases has surged to 7,188 in Odisha.

Of fresh cases, 4026 were reported from different quarantine centres and 3162 were local contacts.

Khordha continues to log over 1,000 new infections becoming the most vulnerable district in Odisha, The district reported the highest of 1,134 cases in a single day followed by Cuttack district with 690 cases and Angul district with 515 cases in the last 24 hours.

The number of active cases now stands at 97,271 in Odisha so far.
