Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Son of late sculptor and Rajya Sabha MP Raghunath Mohapatra’s son Prashant Mohapatra, former Odisha cricket team captain succumbed to Covid-19 while undergoing treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences here on Wednesday.
About his sad demise was informed by the AIIMS superintendent Sachidananda Mohanty.
According to sources, Prashant was put in ventilator support after his condition worsened following Covid infection.
Notably, on May 9, his father had also died at the premier medical institute days after testing positive for the virus. Raghunath (78), a Padma Vibhushan awardee, was admitted to the hospital on April 22.
