Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Transport Department of the Odisha Government today fixed maximum hiring charges for Patient Transport Ambulance (PTA), Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance and Advance Life Support (ALS) ambulance operating across the state.
Below are the hiring charges for various types of ambulances (for first 10 kms):
The proposed maximum rates include oxygen, ambulance equipment, PPE kit, gloves, mask, face shield, sanitization, driver, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where required.
However, for administration of any medication (injectable/oral) including oxygen onboard, the additional cost is to be charged as per actual.
The hiring charges shall be revised from time to time based on changes in fuel prices in the state.
