Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Amid the scare of deadly Corona Virus across State, a little effort was initiated by a corporate head towards the members of Commissionerate police of Odisha.
Despite of precautionary measures by the police officials accord to covid guidelines, on Saturday Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) has donated sanitizer and masks worth Rs 1 Lakh to the commissionerate police.
The Head of the Corporate affairs, Sudhi Ranjan Mishra, handed over the items to Soumendra Kumar Priyadarshini, IPS, Commissioner of Police at the Police Seva Bhavan today.
The notification reads, “The members of Commissionerate police is now whole heartedly engaged in maintaining the Govt. guidelines during the lockdown and shutdown period.”
“Spending maximum time outside during this pandamic is indeed a very tough task.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Priyadarshi also thanked the management for the noble gesture.
