Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Biju Janata Dal (BJD) state organizing secretary and Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das on Saturday chaired a meeting with the administration and leaders to strengthen the fight against covid situation in Sundergarh, Rourkela, Sambalpur and Bargarh districts.
These specific districts and city reported highly vulnerable to COVID-19.
Amid the number of raising cases, a high level meeting was conducted to combat the pandemic situation.
According to reports, Sundargarh District showed 1922 new COVID19 positive cases in last 24 hours. It should be noted that Odisha reports 11807 new COVID19 positive cases in last 24 hours. COVID claimed 21 lives in last 24 hours in Odisha in last 24 hours . Sundargarh reports highest 1922 cases, followed by Khurda 1510, Cuttack 1052, Angul 560, Sambalpur 533 cases.
Similarly, Bargarh District reports 428 new COVID19 positive cases in last 24 hours.
