Kolkata (SunstarTV Bureau): Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee took oath as Chief Minister of West Bengal for the third consecutive time on Wednesday here at Raj Bhavan.
Meanwhile, on Monday, she had met governor Jagdeep Dhankhar to stake claim to form the next government.
She said that the event itself would be a low-key affair, because of the Covid pandemic.
Earlier Monday, Banerjee addressed a press conference where she spoke of a “collective fight” by the opposition against the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, but underscored combating the Covid-19 crisis should be the first priority.
