Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has forecast that as many as 14 districts of Odisha are likely to experience rain and thunderstorm on Friday.
“Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal and also hailstorm likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Kandhamal and Gajapati,” the Meteorological Centre said.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Boudh, Angul and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha, it predicted.
Meanwhile, Met Center has informed about no large change in day temperature during the next 2 days.
Thereafter temperature to fall by 2 to 3 degree celsius at many places over the districts in State.
