Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): India is under the second wave of Covid-19. Meanwhile, in Odisha government has imposed weekend shutdown and Lockdown in required areas to curb the deadly virus.
Even under the strict SOP, people were seen violating the covid protocols in many ways.
Therefore, on Thursday Odisha Director General of Police Abhay has narrated the scenario briefly by adressing to media persons.
“Crime detection gives immense professional satisfaction to police. But for the greater health of the society, police are now arresting people & imposing fines for violations of norms,”
Moreover he said, the total of 418 persons arrested yet and so far 7-crore fine has collected.
He urged the people of Odisha to follow the given protocols and also directed to use mask by following social distancing.
