Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The drastic surge of number of Covid-19 cases are not taking break in state as it’s recorded the number of active COVID-19 cases which crossed 50,000-mark as the state reported 6073 new infections in the last 24 hours.
Out of the 6073 cases, 3522 were detected in quarantine while 2551 are local contact cases.
Khurda district has registered the highest number of Covid cases as 1,092 more persons in the district contracted the virus.
With this, the tally in the state has surged to 4,20,129 with 50,958 active cases.
