Puri (SunstarTV Bureau): While Odisha under the dark cloud of Covid-19 positive cases, the Shree Jagannath Temple officials on Saturday informed to bar devotees to enter into the shrine till May 15, 2021.
The decision was taken further the number of raising cases in Puri town as well in Shrimandir.
Meanwhile, all the rituals to be continued by the servitors and temple officials within the Covid-19 norms and protocols.
“All the daily rituals will continue with help of sevayats and temple officials,” informed the temple officials.
Since the rituals related to the upcoming Puri RathaYatra will begin from Akashya Tritiya (this year on May 15), the spread of COVID-19 among Sevayat families will prove detrimental to the observance of the ensuing festivals.
