SunstarTV Bureau: Today amidst COVID upsurge, Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET)-2021 is being held on offline mode at 491 centres across the state.
Total 1,25,880 students are appearing in the examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha.
The School and Mass Education Department has made elaborate arrangements for smooth conduct of the examination at district and sub-division levels.
Earlier, Department Secretary Satyabrata Sahu wrote to the DGP, all district Collectors and SPs seeking their cooperation for the purpose. He directed them to instruct officials at grassroots level to ensure that the exam is held in adherence to all COVID-19 guidelines, including mask-wearing and social distancing.
Today the exam for Paper-I began at 8 am and end at 10.30 am, Paper-II will be held from 12 noon to 2.20 pm.
