Sundergarh (SunstarTV Bureau): To setting up second AIIMS in State as proposed by Odisha Government, a special technical team of the Centre will review infrastructure facilities at the Sudergarh Medical College and Hospital on Saturday.
The team had reached Odisha on Friday and stayed at a guest house of the NTPC at Darlipali. Today they paid visit and reviewed the infrastructure facilities, informed sources.
Furthermore, the team will submit its primary reviewed report to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on the State’s proposal for the establishment of the AIIMS at the NTPC Medical College and Hospital after assessment.
Earlier, Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy has shot off a letter to the Secretary of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) submitting a proposal for establishment of a second AIIMS in the state.
