Jharsuguda (SunstarTV Bureau): As Odisha has been witnessing resurgence of Covid-19 at many places on Friday the Jharsuguda Collector today suspended operation of weekly haat in the entire district for next three weeks.
According to the District Collector Saroj Kumar Samal, “there will be no weekly haat (market) in the district for coming three weeks.”
“Besides, daily market at different locations dealing with vegetables and non-vegetarian food items will be dispersed over multiple locations,” he said in a tweet. The official also sought cooperation from the public in the fight against COVID-19 resurgence.
However, today the district reported 13 deadly Covid-19 reports, informed the Health and Welfare department of Odisha.
