SunsatrTV Bureau: Today, an Odia doctor will perform the bypass surgery on the President Ram Nath Kovind at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in New Delhi.
Post-investigations, doctors had referred him to AIIMS for a bypass surgery.
A team of experts from the AIIMS has advised him to undergo a bypass procedure. Doctor Akshya Kumar Bisoyi, a leading surgeon has been given the task of the bypass procedure on the President, reports said.
After routine medical check-ups, doctors have decided to perform the operation today.
On March 27, The Rashtrapati Bhawan through a tweet had stated “The President has been under observation after a routine medical check-up. He thanks all who enquired about his health and wished him well.”
