SunstarTV Bureau: The Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Das, today informed that though upsurge of COVID-19 cases in the state and most being reported from educational institutions, no decision has been taken regarding closure of schools.
Talking to mediapersons, the Minister said, ‘no positive case has been reported from state run schools or hostels yet. We have ordered all officials to have strict observance to SOPs issued by the Government.”
He further said district administrations have been asked to keep a close eye on running educational institutions of the state.
