Covid-19 cases hikes 200-Mark overnight in Odisha

SunstarTV Bureau: Overnight the count of covid-19 cases in Odisha crossed 200-mark with 214 persons contracting the virus in the last 24 hours. Of the total fresh cases, 126 are quarantine cases and 88 local contact cases. The state’s total cases ascends to 3,39,460.

Khordha district witnessed a major hike of 33 cases followed by Sundargarh (27) and Cuttack and Balangir with 20 cases, each.

As many as 30,729 samples tested in the last 24 hours. Currently, the number of active cases stands at 1,151 while 3,36,337 have recovered from the disease so far.
