SunstarTV Bureau: Zonal Deputy Commissioner (North) Purandar Nanda of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) informed is monitoring the sanitation work with strict observance of COVID-19 guidelines after some students and staff of the management school tested positive for COVID-19.
The Deputy Comissioner stated that “The XIMB campus has been sealed until further orders and in order to check the spread of Covid-19, a protocol has been put in place for sanitizing the college campus and all documents after sanitizing the entire campus, including classrooms, library and auditoriums too. Meanwhile, a special team rushed to the campus to conduct test of other students and staff of the college. The swab samples have been sent for RT-PCR test.
“There is no reason to be panic. The situation is under surveillance of BMC and precautionary measures are taken by concerned authorities to restrict spread of the virus,” he added.
