SunstarTV Bureau:President Ram Nath Kovind with First Lady Savita Kovind visited the Sri Jagannath Dhama (Badadeula) the most sacred pilgrimage site at puri ,Odisha and paid homage to the four deities collectively known as ‘chaturdha murti’ with tight armament.
Security arrangements have been amplified in the town and all makeshift shops from Medical Square to the temple have been closed for security reasons of president’s visit.
The two arrived at Sri Kshetra in a special chopper around 9am and were accompanied by Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The visit lasted for about 40 minutes.
