Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): After days long of heavy heat wave condition which has prevailed in Odisha, few rain drops and thunderstorm activities in day time helped to dip the maximum temperature level.
The Indian Meterological Department (IMD) on Saturday has forecasted that the day temperature is about to fall by 2-3 degree Celsius at many parts of the districts of Odisha in the next 24 hours and it will gradually rise by 3-4 degree Celsius further.

According to Met department, several parts of Odisha will experience rain and thunderstorm activity in the next 24 hours.
Thundershower and light to moderate rainfall is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak and at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri and Ganjam till upto 0830 hours of March 14.
Similarly, yellow warning issued to the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur.
