Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Regional Meteorological Department on Thursday recorded the highest temperature for the past 24 hours in State where Sundargarh, Malkangiri and Rayagada districts has been recorded the highest of 38.8 degree Celsius.
“The highest temperature of 38.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Sundergarh, Malkangiri and Rayagada in the plains of Odisha,” quoted Met department.
The lowest temperature was recorded in Phulbani district with 11.0 degree Celsius.
Meanwhile, the minimum and maximum temperature of State’s capital, Bhubaneswar recorded as 22.8 degree Celsius and 37.0 degree Celsius respectively. Similarly, Cuttack recorded as 36.5 degree Celsius as maximum and 21.0 degree Celsius as minimum temperature of the last 24 hours.
Besides, today early morning, dense fog was seen in Bhubaneswae and Gopalpur. Moderate fog also prevailed in Puri and Cuttack.
Other districts maximum temperature recorded as in Jharsuguda 35.2 degree Celsius, Keonjhar 34.4 degree Celsius, Chandbali 33.2 degree Celsius, Nayagarh 38.0 degree Celsius, Paralakhemundi 31.0 degree Celsius, Rayagada 38.5 degree Celsius and Koraput 34.6 degree Celsius.
