SunstarTV Bureau: 229 runs and 12 wickets fall on Day 1 and most of it has come to haunt the Englishmen once again. Winning the toss and electing to bat on a seemingly toned down surface, England’s top-order came under the scanner once again as Axar Patel blunted the batsmen once again with his trademark straighter-one. The wily left-armer finished with figures of 4/68 and his senior man Ashwin picked up a three-wicket haul.
