Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warning of heavy rainfall and thunderstorm alert to 15 districts in state on Sunday.
According to Met report, light to moderate rain or thundershower will occur at several places in the State from Tuesday (February 16).
The districts reported as to experience the rainfall are Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Boudh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Angul and Dhenkanal.
However, the warning has been issued to several districts of Sambalpur, Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh and Deogarh from Wednesday to Thursday this week.
Similarly, light to moderate rainfall likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of South Interior Odisha,Gajapati, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Balasore, Bhadrak and dry weather likely to prevail over the rest of the districts in Odisha.
