Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) called for Odisha Bandh on February 15 against the hiking price of petrol and diesel.
Informing about the state-wide shut down, OPCC President Niranjan Patnaik said the bandh will be observed from 7 AM to 1 PM. While vehicles will stay off roads, shops and others business establishments will remain shutting during the period.
“We know that people will face various inconveniences due to the bandh. But we have called for the shutdown to create public awareness about various issues, including the record hike of petrol, diesel and domestic gas,” OPCC President added.
Besides, Patnaik also sought for support and cooperation from all the people of the state to make to bandh a success for their own interest.
