Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday has issued cold wave alert to three districts in Odisha where the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) asked Collectors and Municipal Commissioners to stay alert.
As per the latest weather bulletin by IMD, yellow warning issued to three districts as Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Nabarangapur in the next 24 hours.

While shallow to moderate fog alert has been issued at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Khurda, Kandhamal and Ganjam from 11th January till 13th January.
The SRC has advised people to avoid prolonged exposure to cold during night and early morning while infant and elderly people of these districts are advised not to go outside during heavy cold wave condition.
