New Delhi (SunstarTV Bureau): India government on Friday agreed to give an extra chance to the civil aspirants who had given their last attempt in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam in October 2020.
According to Centre’s statement, the relaxation will be given to the extent of providing one extra attempt for Civil Service Examination (CSE) which specifically limited to CSE-2021to those aspirants who had their last chance to appear in the year 2020.
Above the matter, last week the bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar had asked the centre and UPSC over given of extra chances to civil service aspirants.
However, earlier Centre had told the apex court that no extra attempt for UPSC will be given to students who had their last attempt in October and those who could not appear due to Covid-19.
